Meet Dr. Patricia Ross

Hi, I'm Patricia.

I'm a divorced mom, a daughter who cared for her mother until her last breath, a publisher with over 200 books to my name, and the founder of Girl Power Finance — the company I built because the financial conversations being offered to women just weren't cutting it.

I hold a Ph.D. in English from New York University, and I'm the owner of Hugo House Publishers — named one of the top twenty independent publishers in the U.S. by Publishers Weekly in 2022. Over the course of my career, I've written, edited, and ghost-written more than 200 books, with a full quarter reaching bestseller status. Many of them have been on retirement and sound money management — books I helped men get published, while watching women be talked over in the same conversations.

That's what Girl Power Finance is built to fix.

When I'm not coaching women through their money decisions, I'm working on human rights initiatives — locally here in Colorado and globally — focused on combating human trafficking and other human rights violations.
